The Artesian Community
The Artesian Well is a landmark at the base of Becker Hill as you head towards the boating beach or the Living Cross Trail. This well comes from water that is under a constant pressure underneath Camp Mack which continually bubbles up in the artesian well. It took some work to create, but since that work was done, many passerby have gotten to enjoy the trickle of water.
This landmark serves as the image of the Artesian Community, the giving society for all who include Camp Mack in their retirement or estate planning. Members of this community receive a special bi-monthly newsletter, the Well of Hope, in addition to invitations to special events. It is our vision that these gifts work towards growing endowments for maintenance, camperships, and general operations.
