Birdwatchers Retreat Enjoy the spring migration with birdwatchers of all ages. Both the novice and experienced birders will explore the unique habitats of local birds while identifying the distinguishing characteristics between the species. Serious birders will participate in the national Audubon bird count. Age: Bird watchers of all ages. Anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. |

Build a Drum Workshop Camp Mack has partnered with Stan Secrist, an expert drum builder, artist and teacher, to bring an amazing drum building workshop to Camp Mack. Use your creative skills to build your own custom drum that will bring you years of enjoyment. It takes about 16 hours to build an Ashiko, Djembe, or Native drum depending how elaborate the decorations. We’ll have a special “Kids’ Day” drum building session from 9a-3p on Saturday where kids build, decorate, and assemble their own youth Ashiko drum. Come alone or with a friend to build a custom one-of-a-kind drum. See the website for the many drum styles, sizes, and price options. Drums need to be ordered 30 days in advance to ensure size and style. Limited space. Age: 12 and older for the full workshop, Kids’ Day 6 and older. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Fee: $85 per person includes 2 nights in the Mission Village Yurts and 5 meals. $25 deposit is required to reserve your spot. Drum building materials are not included in this fee. Kids’ Day $30 for adult and child plus cost of drum. Individual drum building fees are listed online or available from our office. Fees and registrations must be received by October 1 so that we can purchase your materials. Day rate option: $18 plus meals |

Camp Mack Festival This is a day of fun and festivities for the whole family! Ages: All ages of kids and adults are welcome! Handicap parking and transportation is available for those with special needs. Fee: Free admission and parking. Festival proceeds help underwrite summer camp scholarships. |

Counselor-in-TrainingLearn to be a “Camp Counselor” by attending this training weekend. Get on-the-job training as you work side by side with a cabin counselor during the summer. Practice your leadership skills, be a role model, and just have fun with the campers. Separate application required. Golf OutingJoin us and your golf buddies for a day of “fun with a purpose” at the Sycamore Golf Course in North Manchester, Indiana. Camp Mack “Scramble” style with door prizes, photo opportunities, and lots of great food. This fundraiser provides additional funds for camperships and special projects that need to be completed at the camp. Age: All ages welcome. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.Fee: $75 per player Date: Saturday, August 18, 2012. Registration at 11:45, lunch at 12:15, and shotgun start at 1p. |

New Year's Eve Retreat Theme: Exploring God as Creator in "All Things New" Great fun for youth, peace of mind for parents! Why bring in the New Year sitting at home in front of the TV when you could be at Camp Mack with youth from all over Indiana counting down the minutes til the ball drops at our very own “Times Square” event? This overnight event is filled with awesome activities indoors and out, live DJ’s, dancing, pizza, popcorn, movies ...the list goes on and on! Age: All youth 6th through 12th grades |

Pastor's Sabbath The Sabbath experience at Camp Mack is a time of reflection, fellowship, personal meditation, and recreation for Church of the Brethren pastors. This time of fellowship and retreat is unstructured except for planned meals and devotional times. Fee: There is no charge for this event. It is our gift to you. |

Prairie Restoration Join in the recovery of 5 acres of native prairie in the Wilderness Area. Bring gloves and sunscreen while assisting in the restoration of this unique area. Age: Workers of all ages. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult. |

Quilt Retreats This is a unique opportunity for quilters of all ages to gather and share their expertise and love of quilting while enjoying the tranquil scenery of Camp Mack. Bring your sewing machine, UFO’s (unfinished objects), and quilting supplies; all levels of quilters, from novice to expert, are invited! Due to facility limitations, space is limited to the first 40 fully-paid quilters. Fee: $110 per quilter.Early Arrival Fee: $122 per quilter arriving on Friday morning, $136 per quilter arriving on Thursday evening. Fee includes housing and scheduled meals. Seasoned Citizen's Retreat Join this group of life-experienced people who gather twice a year to meet old friends and make new ones. Our special program, crafts, vespers, and Bible studies will be offered along with plenty of free time for fellowship, “joke time,” indoor and outdoor games, hiking, puzzles, and naps, too! |
